                                          Blue skies, deep snow and Avalanches

Avalanche debris note the block size, the slab avalanche released on a layer of buried graupel/hail.

The fracture line propagated instantly for 400 metres around the top of the slope, this happen @ 970 metres on an Easterly aspect.
